Streeeeeeeetch!

As we do our trainings at the level we are at (locally known as "Hochleistungssport", we have come to realise the importance of stretching.

Since this is easily ignored we have come to rely on the stretching program in an app called Seven, via which we do 12 stretching exercises in under 10 minutes - very effective, healthy and above all it ensures that our stretching actually gets done!

Abdominal ("stomach muscle") stretch and happy faces after a nice winter morning rowing session.

Doing this stretching does not guarantee lack of "exercise pain", but reduces it and also increases movement range. In addition to that it also gives us a chance to see and comment on how stiff some of our team members are - always fun to discover something new to tease each other about.
