Erg: Pain, record participation and 3 personal bests!

On Saturday 2022-01-29 our little rowing club participated in the Swiss Indoors rowing championship. 

The race itself was done fully virtually this year again and despite some cabling clarifications to be handled evening before the race all went well from a technical standpoint.

Thanks to our regular Tuesday sessions plus an extra push by Rikke, our participation skyrocketed and three personal bests were achieved at the optimal time, i.e. in the championship race!

 That's pain and two personal bests freshly delivered right there!

We had five participants registered to take part and despite the times, only one of us had to cancel. With Hjördis, Joonas, Patrik and Janne, Nordiska had record attendance and could make a mark in the Swiss rowing community. I heard that other clubs were very surprised and impressed!

Despite a lot of pain, no gold medal to the club, but we remain committed, had fun and our documented race preparation has been stored for future participants to enjoy (link).
